Nicky Renwood ICMG*, CAH and International Certifier for IPG
Nicky Renwood is an International Certified master Groomer (ICMG) for the International Professional Groomers Inc (IPG), a grooming judge and a licenced dog show judge. Nicky has been a member of Dogs Victoria, NSW and SA for over 30 years. During this time she has shown and handled all breeds taking many to Best in Show level.
Nicky’s skills and experience developed from being a second generation in the dog industry along with 15 years of owning and running a successful grooming salon and in 2004 opened Australian Dog Grooming School. In October 2006 Nicky became a Certified Master Groomer then in 2008 she obtained her qualification to become an International Certifier for CMG.Her passion and dedication through her involvement within the dog world has led her to be committed to the high level of study necessary to gain these qualifications.
Nicky is a team member of Groom Team Australia (GTA) who competed in Germany in the 2009 World Team Championship against 16 other countries best groomers, coming 3rd in the Sporting class.
Melanie Newman
Melanie Newman has operated a very successful dog grooming business for the past 10 years. Spa Bark Dog Grooming has a cliental base of over 4000 very happy customers. Mel has trained and educated numerous groomers’ that have been employed by her.
Throughout her career Mel has competed nationally in dog grooming competitions having placed in nearly every competition, Mel competed in Europe against their finest groomer’s coming 2nd in the poodle class. In October 2009 at Groomex the national grooming competitions on the Gold Coast Mel achieved a 1st place in the Poodle competition in the Masters Class.
Mel has also developed a passion for showing Toy Poodles and is a member of Dogs Victoria. Her constant involvement and passion within the grooming industry has motivated her to help raise the grooming standard throughout Australia.
