GroomOlympics 2011 will take place in the form of a workshop. The event is a combination of a workshop and a competition, and will be fun, interactive and most importantly educational. To be held on Sunday 1 May 2011 at the State Dog Centre in Bulla this exciting event is a must on any serious dog groomer's calendar.
The main focus of this competition style workshop is to learn during the competition.
The event is designed to help groomers gain knowledge on techniques in a relaxed competition style ring, where judges will be walking around assisting groomers with technical advice. During the event, groomers are encouraged to ask for advice and apply techniques learnt during the competition.
Places in all levels will be awarded, with best in show and runner up in show awarded after the event.
We are very pleased to have Nicky Renwood ICMG /IPG Certifier and Melanie Newman ICMG as our judges for this prestigious event.
Competition class timings are:
Morning
Gundog, Terrier and Salon Free Style
Afternoon
Poodle and all other pure breeds.
Fees:
$30 AM session
$50 for both AM and PM sessions.
Each competitor can only enter one dog in the morning session and one dog in the afteroon session.
